Is a member of American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers
Jimmy started playing guitar at 13 and has never looked back. He has played the Monterey Pop Festival, and has also been the supporting act for many major bands. These have included Bad English, UFO, Foghat, Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush, Robin Trower, Jeff Healey, Molly Hatchet, Great White, Kings X, Vinnie Vincent Invasion, and Quiet Riot, to name just a few.
Jimmy has headlined shows including the Cabo Wabo Cantina in Mexico when Van Halen owned it. He was hired to go down two different times for popular weekends, playing for the entire week each time.
Jimmy has released 6 full-length original albums/CD’s. He paid for and produced them himself regardless of the toll. Jimmy's latest offering is titled “All The Wolves”. We believe that this will prove to be his best work to date, and it deserves to be heard and shared in a significant way.
Jimmy was awarded the Gold Seal of the State of California by the state legislator for a poem he wrote entitled “This Is Our Country”. Another notable achievement was when Musician Magazine had a contest looking for the best-unsigned band in the country. The judges included Ray Davies from The Kinks and Chrissy Hyndes from The Pretenders.
Jimmy won best hard rock band in the country without a contract, out of 3500 entrants.
Some of the acknowledgements he has received have been:
‘Early Van Halen meets Led Zeppelin’. This review was by the Orange County register in Orange County California, after a concert with Bad English. The Monterey Pop Festival said Jimmy was ‘stellar!!’ ReverbNation reviewed ‘Umbrella In The Rain’ and said it had to be a big named artist and reviewers were being deceived.
